Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Microblading and Permanent Eyebrow tattoo?
Microblading is a semi Permanent tattoo that last 18-36 months.  This technique is done manually with a tool that consist of 7-14 rows of tiny little needles.  With this technique, it creates hair like strokes for a more fuller natural brow the procedure takes anywhere between 1.5 to 2 hours.
Permanent Eyebrow Tattoo is done with a tattoo machine that consist of one needle.  This method last about 3-4 years. With this technique it creates more of a “make up” like filled in brows.  This procedure usually take an hour to an hour and a half.
How is it that the microblading semi permanent?

The reason why it’s semi permanent is that Microblading only goes in one layer deep into the skin. Where as a traditional tattoo goes in 3-4 layers deep into the epidermis.

Do you need to shave off my brows to do this method of microblading?

No. Absolutely not.

Will it turn blue or green when the tattoo fades?

No. and thank goodness.  If anything, if you decide not to get your brows touched up it will slowly completely fade away.  Depending on the clients skin type and lifestyle, some will fade faster and some will fade slower.

How often do I need a touch up?

Touch ups are depending on your skin type and lifestyle.  Touch-ups are recommended every 6-9 months.  Because of the microblading is a semi permanent tattoo, brows will fade overtime.  So it’s always great to come back and get them a bit darker and more vibrant.

Why do I need 2 part procedure?
It is important to come back 4-6 weeks from your first microblading appointment.  After the first procedure, your brows will heal, peel, and may be patchy and uneven. Which is completely normal.  Second procedure is to touch up those areas that healed patchy and for the client to let your artist know if there’s any tweaks they would like to have done to the brows.
The second procedure as I call it “the perfecting procedure” not only we go over the patchiness and unevenness but this second procedure will help the pigment stay and last longer.
